PART TIME SALES PERSON

Main purpose of the job
To handle day to day shop activities and to advise customers in a enthusiastic, friendly and helpful manner.

 Main duties

1. Keeping shop clean, tidy and stocked.
2. Assisting customers with their purchases to ensure they are happy with and understand the products.
3. Completing sales transactions and correctly recording each product sold.
4. Preparing and labelling products.
5. Processing telephone / internet / mail orders for delivery.
6. Opening and closing our shop.
7. Cashing up.
8. Checking stock deliveries and reporting any damage.
9. Answering telephone enquiries.
10. Completing general shop errands that may be required.
11. Handing out leaflets to potential customers.

Location
Cobblestone Walk, 74 High Street, Steyning, West Sussex, BN44 3RD

Hours available:
10.30am - 5pm Tuesdays and Fridays.

Wage
Over 18: £5.60 per hour increasing to £5.90 after 3 months trial. Plus staff discount.
16 – 18 years: £4.45 per hr increasing to £4.60 after 3 months trial. Plus staff discount.
